1 Corinthians 15:1 Amp tells we need to continually remind ourselves of the Gospel (good news) which we welcomed and accepted and our faith rests upon! In order to get our prayers answered, our faith needs to rest on the fact that we know what God says about what we are asking for!
I promised my daughter a new dress many times and she would remind me that the time was coming when she would need her new dress. I knew she had faith in me, she was not fretful when she reminded me of my promise! God wants us to do the same to Him, remind Him of how you have faith in what He told you! That is how our faith rests on Him!
I have a car here in the Philippines that is an older model and God has kept it running for me. It kept running many times when I thought it would die right on the spot. I have had many cars, but never one of this type, so I did not have much knowledge about it.
Well yesterday God showed the mechanics how to fix my car! It has averaged being in the shop once a week, every week since October. Still believing God for the parts, but I believe they will be found and all will be well!
James talks to me almost everyday in Chapter 1 it says: My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Patience has been learned time and again over the last few weeks. Thank God and a faithful wife for standing by me all these days!!
PS nice part was I found a place that I could study or read my emails while I was wanting on my car to be repaired!!!
A rare thing in the Philippines, because so many people in the Philippines have no money to influence people. Kevin, is a young man who is graduating and his mother, Amy, is believing God for the family to be blessed of God! She and her children are attending and hosting our care group. her husband even built a place for us to meet!
God wants each and every one of us to have faith in Him to provide for us! If we trust him even when the family is not producing great amounts of wealth, He will help us to see a testimony, through times that no one around us have enjoyed! The Bible says in Psalm 91 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
Here is Caleb, our son-in-law, helping us to pray for the people of Sapangbato Outreach so they could be touched by the anointing of God!!
We are always ready for visitors , but it is far greater when it is our family from the USA, many miles away who visit so we can continue our relationships!
They thought he looked like a TV personality!
God’s best to you all!!
Our daughter Joanie helped us to feed the Sapangbato barangay people.
Our outreach loved them coming from the USA and they were very blessed!!
We are so happy to have this time with our family!
